ATTU

A surreal docudrama documenting the real life story of explorer and botanist Isobel Wylie Hutchison and her time on Attu Island told through her reports on a radio station

ATTU was a film based in a set made to look like a 1940s radio station. With it came multiple possible designs, compromising when needed for projections on the walls. As well as this I used real-life photos to help inspire the various outfits she wears in different time periods

As well as being the production designer, I was also the colorist. The director requested me to showcase these vibrants blues, teals and oranges to show the beauty of the island of Attu contrasted with the tragedy that occured.
